" I have become obsessed on capturing a gum tree covered in snow, but that is impossible. A gum covered in snow changes by the minute, one gust of wind and all the snow is gone. A snap freeze and the snow instantly becomes ice. When I drive up to the mountains and every time I spot this gum it stands out. snow on twisted limbs makes uniform shapes, surreal flashes of vibrant colour on the trunks and branches. Heavy clumps of snow and ice, I try ro capture the impossible scene. "
